Restorative

When decay is detected in your teeth, restorations (fillings) are often the recommended treatment. Fillings can be done in either composite (white in colour) or amalgam (silver in colour). Although both are accepted options, we might recommend one option over the other based on individual cases. Ask your dentist which filling would best suit your needs.

If the filling is extremely large or the tooth has been compromised by decay, a more involved procedure may be recommended, such as:

Crowns
Bridges
Inlays
Onlays
Post and Core

The above are restorations which are customized in a laboratory. They can be made in either all-porcelain, porcelain fused to metal, or gold alloy.
